Pool Parties No Longer Allowed

Alexandra Meadows HOA President, Kaye Riopelle has stated that starting in January, 2012 no more pool parties will be allowed.

In the August 2011 newsletter, Riopelle states that due to “risk management” issues, if residents wish to have a party they can use the pavilion in the city owned, park next door. Riopelle made no mention as to the definition of a “party”,  but states that homeowners are only entitled to have four [non-resident] guests at the pool.

Additionally Riopelle has stated that the following “Fining Policy” will be enforced for not following the rules at the pool:

  • 1st infraction = written warning notice
  • 2nd infraction = $100 fine
  • 3rd infraction = Household loses pool privileges for one calendar year
  • Additionally – If resident is caught at the pool after privileges have been revoked, they will be subject to arrest for trespassing and will be fined an additional $250 per incident.

As of July 25, 2011 the pool will be open from 8am to 9pm. The board will decide later whether or not to keep the pool open until October.
